POSITION: BRAND AMBASSADOR

K. Mac & Associates Marketing Inc. (“K. Mac”) is a fun, vibrant, and innovative Integrated Marketing Promotions Agency specializing in the execution of experiential (XM) promotional marketing events bringing unique, entertaining brand experiences to life for our valued marketing leading clients including Procter and Gamble Inc., Reckitt Benckiser and Johnson & Johnson .

We are currently hiring a team of Brand Ambassadors to work with us on an upcoming 2008 AirWick retail program at Safeway stores across various regions in Western Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Abbotsford, Surrey, Burnaby, Victoria, Kelowna, Westbank, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, Red Deer and Prairie Portage).

The position is two-day, part-time event – contract. You must be available on September 20th and 27th to apply. The application deadline is SEPT 3, 2008. There are additional opportunities in October as well, so apply now!

Major Responsibilities:

a) Work independently to cover a selected territory of Safeway stores;
b) Drive excitement and awareness around the participating air freshening products in-store;
c) Intercept and engage shopper’s in-store to educate them about the air freshening products;
d) Distribute samples and coupons to shoppers in-store;
e) Drive in-store sales of the air freshening products;
f) Complete a post evaluation form;

Requirements:

• Be energetic with an out-going personality
• Enjoy working in the public domain
• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while continually expressing energy and enthusiasm
• Possess strong sales and communication skills
• Act professionally, be responsible with a presentable appearance

• Have organizational, time management and problem solving skills
• Be comfortable working independently
• POSSESS A VALID DRIVER’S LICENCE AND HAVE ACCESS TO A RELIABLE VEHICLE
• Have unlimited access to a computer, internet and e-mail
• Be able to handle some physical activity such as light lifting and set up and dismantle a display booth
• Have the ability to store promotional items for the event such as display items, POP material and literature.
