POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the day to day operation of a Blockbuster Store. Key areas: Customer Service Excellence, Operational Excellence and Financial Results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Act as manager on duty as requested by management team with a focus on delivery of customer service.
· Give on-shift guidance and direction to Customer Service Representatives.
· Lead by example for the G.U.E.S.T. service standards: Greet, Understand, Explain, Suggest, and Thank.
· Assist in managing store scheduling system to ensure there is proper coverage for all shifts including days, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
· Assist in controlling store operating expenses.
· Assist with and perform any of the Assistant Manager functions as requested by the management team.
· Assist in keeping the interior and exterior of the store clean and organized.
REQUIREMENTS:
· University or College diploma in Business an asset.
· Minimum 1-2 years-supervisory experience within the retail, entertainment, or hospitality industry.
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Strong administrative and organizational skills.
