Job Description

  • Assisted Project Engineer in preparing bid invitations and coordinating bid submissions

  • Assisted Project Engineer in preparation of construction budget estimates, construction schedules and milestones, and monitored progress against base-line schedules.

  • Assisted Project Engineer to review detailed construction work packages for integration with engineering, procurement and construction

  • Prepared sub-contracts and negotiated revisions, issued change orders

Job Description

 

  • Liaised with Project Manager, Project Architects, Electrical and Mechanical contractors, Suppliers, Clients, workers and general public.

  • Supervised layout, formwork and reinforcement of the various components in order to ensure that the project was built to drawing specifications.

  • Maintained the construction schedule and work efficiency over the course of the entire duration of the project

  • Ensured the accuracy of installation of each sub-trade as it pertained to the construction drawings and scope of work for that particular sub-trade

  • Communicated on a daily basis with the General Manager (Tech) and Project Consultant regarding any concerns, discrepancies, additions, or alterations that arose during the course of construction of buildings or areas affected by a building on the site
